Debuting in late September of 1993, Nirvana’s critically acclaimed final album, “IN UTERO”, was out less than 7 months before Kurt Cobain stunned the rock world by taking his own life on April 5, 1994. It is well known that Nirvana group signed albums are scarce, but given the short window between the release and Cobain’s passing, “IN UTERO” is without a doubt the rarest group signed album in existence. Less than 10 authentic examples are known to be in circulation, with all of them accounted for and tucked away in prestigious collections.
