Own piece of sports history with this vintage ‘Baseball Hall of Fame Trophy Bottle‘ Decanter produced by Lionstone Distilleries Ltd in 1974 for their 8 year old Kentucky straight bourbon whisky by the National Baseball Hall of Fame to pay homage to the Great American Pastime – Baseball.

This Limited Edition sculptured porcelain Decanter is an elaborate hand painted action scene depicting a runner sliding safely in under the catcher’s tag.

The original tag reads as follows;

The game of baseball, created in 1839 by Andrew Doubleday, grew rapidly in popularity and soon became known throughout the world as the “Great American Pastime”. The game has produced such National heroes as Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Babe Ruth and of more recent date, Hank Aaron.
