This is a weathered patina porcelain/enamel, California road sign from the iconic Route 66, aka; Will Rogers Highway- aka; Main Street of America- aka; Mother Road.
No markings so exact production date is unknown. It’s heavy, thick, 11.5 x 11 inches of rusty gold. Used and abused by years of having been exposed to the elements, with a finish that’s still slick and blinding – just the way we like’em!
Officially removed from the United States Highway System on June 27, 1985 – this is your chance to own a piece of American history while you can!
A must for any man-cave, bar, garage – or better yet, to replace that horrible family picture over the living room fireplace!
